Position Overview
We are currently seeking dedicated Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technicians for our second shift operations. The second shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM. In this role, you will be integral to the assembly of electro-mechanical components, contributing to the creation of sub-assemblies and final products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to both written and verbal instructions to accurately assemble and manipulate multiple components simultaneously, utilizing hand tools and presses.
  • Work across various workstation processes and provide support where necessary to maintain workflow.
  • Process documentation, including drawings and work order travelers, with precision.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety by consistently following company protocols and procedures relevant to your assigned environment.
  • Conduct safety function tests and inspections on your work and that of your colleagues.
  • Identify, distinguish, and categorize parts while effectively managing product variants.
  • Assist in training fellow associates in assembly techniques and setup processes as needed.
  • Oversee work orders, ensuring proper handling of non-conforming components.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure the safety and maintenance of mechanical equipment in your area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with measuring tools and hand tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, tweezers, pin-vices, arbor presses, and Allen drivers.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with ESD protocols.
  • Safe handling of circuit boards and optical components.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Preferred vocational training or experience in interpreting blueprints and visual diagrams.
  • Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and communicating in English.
  • Regular on-site attendance is essential for this role.

Compensation
Compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The typical pay for this position is $19.00 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.
