Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for taking radiographs (x-rays) of patients to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. You will perform procedures accurately and in a careful, compassionate, and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
  • Select proper and accurate technical factors and techniques to accommodate patient needs.
  • Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safety.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with patients and other caregiver colleagues.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Vocational School Graduate
