The Smoothie Bar Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience, addressing any inquiries or concerns that patrons may have regarding the food and merchandise available. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of operational procedures related to food service, cash handling, and efficient transaction processing. The Smoothie Bar Specialist is dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all customers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Smoothie Bar
  • Oversee food preparation and inventory for the Smoothie Bar Grab N Go.
  • Ensure the self-service area is well-stocked with utensils and supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Smoothie Bar.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations as mandated by the Health Department.
Merchandise
  • Keep merchandise clean and ready for display.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure products are available in the Gym Store.
  • Achieve individual sales targets set by the Merchandise Supervisor.
  • Welcome and assist customers, providing guidance on product usage and care.
  • Offer recommendations to clients regarding available products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong customer service abilities
  • In-depth product knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Understanding of food and beverage operations
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Minimum Requirements:

  • Prior experience in food and beverage service is preferred
  • Experience in a health club or hospitality setting is advantageous
  • Food Handler's certification must be obtained within the first month of employment
