Our clientele spans the southeastern United States, including states such as Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and the Florida panhandle. Our objective is to assist manufacturers across various sectors in achieving and sustaining a competitive edge through enhanced productivity and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client locations to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tool equipment and controls.
- Utilize technical manuals, documentation, and vendor resources to investigate and resolve machine-related issues.
- Complete and submit necessary documentation regarding machine status, repairs, and installations to both the office and clients.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on CNC equipment and provide after-sales technical support and training.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the machine tool industry and the product lines offered by the company.
Additional Duties:
- Perform related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical repair of CNC machine tools is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business applications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
- Must meet the physical demands of the role, including flexible hours, overtime, and occasional weekend work.
- Frequent travel within a designated regional territory is necessary.
Mental and Physical Requirements:
- Must be mobile and able to access all areas of the work environment.
- Ability to focus and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Capability to sit for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
- Frequent use of hands and arms is required.
- Vision capabilities must include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations with clients and colleagues.
