Position Overview

Tire Discounters is actively seeking dedicated customer support specialists to become part of our expanding team. The Automotive Glass Customer Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing a positive first impression through appointment scheduling, service quoting, estimate creation, and liaising with insurance providers and clients regarding their estimates. This role also involves generating daily invoices and coordinating tasks for the glass service team.

A CLOSER LOOK AT YOUR ROLE:
  • Utilizes effective communication and listening skills to manage a variety of incoming sales inquiries, guiding customers compassionately while arranging appointments.
  • Engages in both scripted and unscripted dialogues, fostering authentic conversations that build rapport by addressing each customer's unique requirements.
  • Offers solutions to address customer grievances and inquiries during calls, employing techniques to highlight product benefits and overcome objections while delivering precise service information.
  • Maintains professionalism when discussing sales or negotiating pricing with customers.
  • Inputs data into Tire Discounters' Point-Of-Sale system in real-time, ensuring accuracy during interactions. Oversees the setup of daily work orders and the timely loading, checking, and transit of vehicles.
  • Assists with the check-in and check-out processes.
  • Coordinates work order assignments and the routing of mobile jobs.
  • Ensures all work orders are accurately accounted for and converted into invoices.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client complaints and warranty issues.
  • Processes invoices for work orders and enters parts into the system.
Qualifications

  • Ability to build rapport and trust with customers, colleagues, and stores while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
  • Capability to persuade and inform customers about the advantages of Tire Discounters while effectively closing sales and scheduling appointments.
  • Proficiency in using computer and telephone systems.
  • Ability to read and utilize optional scripts in a conversational style.
  • Willingness and ability to operate computer and telephone systems while seated for extended periods.
  • Competence in dealing effectively with others, identifying issues, and proposing viable solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective listening abilities.
  • Experience in operating general office equipment, planning, scheduling, and organizing tasks, as well as performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Skill in demonstrating and executing job tasks of direct reports and efficient use of computer software.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Valid in-state motor vehicle license.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays.
Compensation Overview

Compensation: $ Effective Rate

Our Automotive Glass Customer Support Specialists have the potential to earn $24 per hour, inclusive of base hourly rate, overtime, and monthly bonus opportunities, with the possibility of earning more.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Minimal walking or standing throughout the day.
  • Frequent talking, typing, and texting throughout the day.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
