Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Academic Leader to join our team at Villanova University's M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing. This is an exciting opportunity for a distinguished academic leader to advance research, education, and innovation in community/home health nursing.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research teams, mentoring students, and teaching courses on community engagement models and creative home health models. They will also collaborate with faculty, researchers, communities, industry partners, and health care systems to promote interdisciplinary research and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor research teams conducting community/home health-based research
  • Teach courses about community engagement models and creative home health models across student levels
  • Mentor and supervise undergraduate and graduate students in their community/home health research projects and academic pursuits
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a research doctoral preparation in Nursing or a related field, with specific experience in community/home health nursing. A distinguished record of scholarly research and publication in community/home health nursing and health care is also required. Experience in securing research grants and funding, as well as demonstrated excellence in working with students, is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

A research doctorate in Nursing, leadership experience within an academic or research setting, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are preferred qualifications for this role.
