Job Opportunity at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the application of components used in safety-related Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design engineer for standard modules and assemblies used as building blocks to support engineering design of safety I&C systems.
  • Compile technical documents/specifications for procurement, testing, and manufacturing.
  • Manage Bill of Material and revision control of circuit card assemblies.
  • Support supplier with technical issue resolution.
  • Execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Electronic Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electronic design.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware instrumentation.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in design or manufacture of I&C systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC control systems.
  • Knowledge of PCB fabrication processes.
  • Experience in a regulated field (Medical, Aerospace, Nuclear...).
