Job Summary

As a Cashier/Host at Wildhorse Resort and Casino, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience. Your role will involve greeting guests, escorting them to tables, and providing information about specials and promotions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to guests
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
  • Verify check-in and cash register reconciliation
  • Assist with seating arrangements and maintain a smooth flow in the dining room
  • Answer room service calls, take orders, and deliver food to the room
  • Handle guest questions and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, and department policies
Requirements
  • 6 months of experience in a position requiring exceptional customer relations skills
  • 6 months of cashier experience
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to count back change accurately and efficiently
  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods and perform repetitive motions
  • Exhibits a professional demeanor and maintains a positive attitude
  • Must possess or obtain a Food Handler's Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment
  • Requires a High-Security Gaming license clearance
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
