Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Tech to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging.
  • Apply a broad range of skills to ensure exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Provide appropriate screening processes to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
Technical Capabilities
  • Fundamental awareness of diagnostic equipment, including the ability to resolve simple equipment problems.
  • Basic knowledge of compliance regulations, including understanding who to go to for further explanation and support.
  • Limited experience working with patient documentation, including the ability to check work quality before delivery.
Core Accountabilities
  • Deliver job responsibilities that impact own job area/team with some guidance.
  • Use existing procedures, research, and analysis to solve standard job-related problems that may require some judgment.
Position Qualifications
  • Certifications: LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Licensure-Others.
  • Work Experience: Relevant work experience with less than 1 year of experience.
  • Education: Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
