Our operations span three key divisions: Renewable Energy, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), and Rock Trenching, with projects across various regions in the United States. POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled Construction Superintendent to lead and manage our initiatives within the Renewable Energy sector. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in construction management, demonstrating a history of executing intricate projects efficiently and within financial constraints. In this role, you will coordinate all site operations, ensure adherence to safety standards, and facilitate effective communication among all parties involved.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel full-time to various project locations.
- Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring work is executed efficiently and aligns with project specifications.
- Establish and nurture relationships with owners, service providers, and vendors. Serve as the main contact point between the organization, clients, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Supervise on-site personnel, including operators, laborers, subcontractors, and vendors. Offer guidance and training to promote high performance and compliance with company standards.
- Implement and enforce safety measures to ensure a secure working environment. Conduct routine safety inspections and promptly address any identified hazards.
- Monitor work quality and compliance with project plans. Take corrective actions as necessary to rectify any deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate field reporting, including daily logs, additional work orders, safety records, and incident reports. Identify and track any work that exceeds the initial scope.
- Conduct daily inspections of all equipment on-site and report necessary repairs to management.
- Keep track of project quantities for scheduling, record-keeping, and billing purposes in a timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, focusing on renewable energy, heavy civil, or electrical projects.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA) are advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities, with a capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders. Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects the company’s values and professionalism.
- Willingness to work 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based construction management software.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Annual Salary: $125,000+ based on experience.
