We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Echo Tech to join our team at Medical City Plano. As a Cardiovascular Echo Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular program.
Responsibilities- Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including ultrasound machines and echocardiography systems.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology to provide accurate and effective care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in cardiovascular technology and techniques.
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound or cardiac sonography program.
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiac Sonography Credentialing International (CCI).
- Ability to perform echocardiograms without supervision.
