Job Title: Diesel Fleet Mechanic

At Sysco, we are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with vehicles and equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Work with other technicians to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Requirements:
  • 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair
  • ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks (preferred)
  • Knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEMs and component manufacturers
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
