Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting and pouring pharmaceuticals.
  • Process prescriptions, including entering patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
  • Engage with customers and patients, providing excellent customer service and answering questions about medications and pharmacy services.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems.
