We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics physician to join our team as a Medical Director at Montefiore Medical Center. As a leader in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical services, including quality, productivity, and optimization of care models to respond to patient and community needs.
About the Role- Provide leadership for adult and family medicine providers working at our FQHCs and at mobile and shelter sites for families experiencing homelessness.
- Oversight of clinical services, including quality, productivity, and optimization of care models to respond to patient and community needs.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
- Work closely with our leadership team to advance the mission and goals of Montefiore Medical Center.
Montefiore Medical Center is a mission-driven, innovative federally qualified health center (FQHC) located in the South Bronx. We are committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive, and compassionate health care to underserved populations. Our beautifully designed and technologically sophisticated community health centers provide an enhanced medical home with comprehensive primary care in Pediatrics, Reproductive Health, Adult Medicine, and HIV/AIDS care.
Qualifications- Current unrestricted NYS medical license and unrestricted DEA certificate.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics (MD or DO).
- Experience and/or interest in a community-based setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with electronic medical records.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
- Base salary $210,000-$220,000.
- Opportunity for additional productivity bonus.
- Sign on bonus of $5,000.
- Reimbursement for renewal of NYS license and DEA registrations.
- $1,000 discretionary account and three (3) CME days.
