Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Cambridge Health Alliance. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will perform a broad range of non-invasive cardiovascular tests to provide medical specialists with critical data for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of cardiovascular non-invasive tests according to established protocols, ensuring efficient operation of the department.
  • Recognize adequate vs inadequate data collection and prepare preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
  • Identify abnormalities and life-threatening findings, reporting to physicians or nursing units as needed, and documenting notifications for quality improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Accredited Allied Health Program, registry eligible.
  • Certifications: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Work Experience: Previous clinical background required.
