Position Overview:


The Evening Nursing Supervisor is a pivotal leader who acts as a resource for the nursing team, working closely with the interdisciplinary group to ensure the highest quality of resident care.

This role involves supporting nursing staff in clinical evaluations and maintaining accurate documentation of services provided. The Evening Nursing Supervisor also plays a key role in scheduling and ensuring sufficient staffing levels, while serving as a liaison for families.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in nursing.
  • Experience in long-term care is preferred.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and leadership abilities are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer skills is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guides and supports the nursing staff in addressing inquiries.
  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide optimal resident care.
  • Aids nursing staff in clinical evaluations and service documentation.
  • Assists in scheduling and guarantees adequate staffing.
  • Acts as a family liaison.
