Position Overview

We are in search of a proficient and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to become part of our team. In this role, you will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of our production machinery and facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment within the food processing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems
  • Install, maintain, and repair conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and various industrial equipment
  • Execute preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reduce downtime
  • Keep precise records of maintenance and repair activities
  • Collaborate with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment challenges
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a tidy and organized workspace
  • Engage in training programs to remain current on new equipment and technologies

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial maintenance
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Familiarity with conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and other industrial machinery
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
