Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Hargrove Engineers & Constructors. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling heavy industrial engineering projects, monitoring project costs, and estimating projects.

The Maintenance Planner will work under minimal supervision to develop schedules and analysis for contract packages, forecast construction activities, and identify coordination issues that may impact safety and schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Earned Value and Project Productivity, as well as experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.

• Develop and maintain schedules for heavy industrial engineering projects
• Monitor project costs and estimate projects
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and contractors to ensure coordination of efforts
• Assist in facilitating weekly change notice hearings and change committee meetings
• Develop and maintain the change notice/change order management system

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, project management, scheduling, cost control, and estimating
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science, or related field highly preferred
• AACE International or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
