We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant to join our neurosurgery team at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group. Job DescriptionThis Physician Assistant role will involve working closely with two experienced neurosurgeons and a team of advanced practice providers to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in first assisting on a variety of cranial and spine cases, including DBS, advanced minimally invasive spine surgery, and deformity correction cases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert-level care to patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures
- Work collaboratively with neurosurgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in neurosurgery
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:
- A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut (or eligible)
- Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant
- At least one year of experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in a Neurosurgery or Orthopedic setting (first assist in OR preferred)
