About the Role

The Salon Manager is a key position at Supercuts, responsible for overseeing all aspects of a salon's operations. This includes providing leadership and support to staff to help them grow their clientele and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional guest service and drive business growth.
  • Guest Service and Experience: Ensure that every guest has a positive experience at the salon, providing quality consultations, exceptional service, and the knowledge to duplicate their desired look at home.
  • Business Operations: Oversee all aspects of salon operations, including scheduling, transactions, and inventory management.
  • Staff Development and Training: Identify areas for improvement and provide training and development opportunities to help staff grow their skills and knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Resolve guest issues and conflicts in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Cosmetology or Barber License: Current license to practice as a cosmetologist or barber, as required by state or provincial regulations.
  • Manager License: Current license to practice as a salon manager, as required by state or provincial regulations.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and other stakeholders.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for sustained periods, lift up to 10 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the role.
