Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Frankfort, IN. As a contract SLP, you will work with K-5 students in a local school district, providing assessment, therapy, and support to help students overcome speech and language challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address the unique needs of each student, working closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with identified speech and language disorders, using a variety of techniques and strategies to promote language development and communication skills.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns, providing guidance and support to ensure that students receive the best possible education.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload, including progress notes, IEPs, and other relevant documentation.
  • Provide regular progress reports to parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development, such as lesson plans, worksheets, and other educational tools.
Requirements
  • Indiana SLP license
  • Department of Education credential for SLPs
