Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Staff Coordinator to join our team at Christian Living Communities. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care to our Assisted Living residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate each resident's clinical needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Manage and coordinate physician orders, including labs, prescriptions, and other clinical needs
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident information and updates
  • Collaborate with direct care staff to provide exceptional clinical support and guidance
  • Participate in care conferences with families and residents to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and other stakeholders to address relevant issues
  • Supervise and develop direct care associates to ensure high-quality care and services
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in good standing or relevant experience
  • 1-year experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Computer processing and electronic medical database experience, preferably with PCC
  • 1-year experience in an Assisted Living setting
  • Ability to be on-call and possess excellent customer service skills
Working Conditions

This role requires moderate physical activity, frequent interruptions, and interaction with residents, family members, and visitors. You will be exposed to chemicals, blood-borne pathogens, and other communicable diseases.
