Seeking a Dedicated Anatomical Educator

The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is committed to excellence in anatomical education. We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide onsite anatomical education for medical students, graduate students, and/or undergraduate nursing and health professions students. This will involve developing and implementing innovative curricula, teaching lab-based human gross anatomy courses, and conducting research related to scholarship of teaching and learning in anatomy.

Qualifications
  • PhD or MD, or equivalent professional training and expertise
  • Candidates whose interests complement those of the current faculty in the Division of Anatomical Sciences will be given priority
  • Applicants should be committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship of teaching

Preference will be given to individuals with experience teaching a lab-based human gross anatomy course and the ability to conduct research related to scholarship of teaching and learning in anatomy. Employees of the University of Missouri and University of Missouri Healthcare are eligible for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program.
