Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will perform a variety of tasks under close supervision, following detailed work instructions that require limited judgment and decision-making to complete.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct feeder maintenance, repair, and data tracking to ensure seamless operations.
  • Train employees in the operation and maintenance of machinery to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • May train and coordinate activities of Maintenance Assistants to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist in troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts and ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
  • May be required to work overtime to meet production demands.
  • Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the team's goals and objectives.
Job Qualifications
  • Able to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  • Use of basic and special-purpose hand tools and leveling instruments, knowledge of torque specifications, and basic mathematics to perform tasks accurately.
  • Understanding of electronic color codes and other component value markings to ensure correct identification and usage.
  • Understanding of safety practices requirements to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and email) to access and manage information.
  • Use of specialized maintenance tracking programs to monitor and record equipment maintenance activities.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Associates degree in electronics with an emphasis in servo positioning theory or equivalent discipline.
  • Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant may be substituted.
  • Zero to two (2) years of work-related experience required, preferably in electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
