Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and participate in all maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance of property grounds, apartments, and building exteriors, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager with budgeting and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Respond to resident requests for maintenance and service, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance repairs on all systems at the property, ensuring optimal performance and extending the lifespan of equipment.
  • Complete the "make-ready" process for vacant apartment homes, ensuring they are prepared for leasing and new move-ins.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, treating residents and colleagues with respect and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience, with a strong background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repair.
  • Universal EPA/CFC Certification and mastery of appliance repair.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to live within 30 minutes of the property.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities.
