Key Responsibilities- Safely drive a company vehicle on established routes to unload pre-ordered dairy products.
- Unload products at wholesale stops, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
- Comply with Oberweis appearance guidelines and wear a company-approved uniform.
- Perform pre- and post-inspections of delivery vehicles, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, handling dairy products with care and attention to detail.
- Use handheld devices to pick orders and complete daily paperwork and logs for assigned deliveries.
- Drive and work safely to prevent accidents and injuries, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Work a 4-day week, typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, delivering dairy products in an efficient and professional manner.
- Follow DOT regulations and pass a DOT physical, meeting defined MVR standards at all times to remain qualified to drive company motor vehicles.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and work in refrigerated conditions (33-38 degrees), maintaining a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
- CDL B with air-brakes
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and physically demanding environment
- High level of comfort with GPS technologies and digital communications
- Ability and desire to work outdoors in various types of weather
