Senior Network Architect

Job Summary:
The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the enterprise networking infrastructure at Singing River Health System. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, design, and management, with a proven track record of implementing and optimizing complex network solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level networks
- Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs
- Monitor and analyze network performance to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement network architecture and design
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in network engineering
- Strong background in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level networks
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
- Experience with Cisco network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software (network management and monitoring tools)
- Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualized environments
- Demonstrated experience with Cisco and Palo Alto Networking/Firewalls
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
Working Conditions:
The Senior Network Administrator will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate physical demands. The role requires sitting for extended periods, moving about the office, and traveling to other facilities within the SRHS service area.
Education and Certifications:
High School Diploma required. Prefer Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or applicable years of experience with related certifications in lieu of degree.
Certifications:
Certifications in Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE are preferred.
