Position Summary: At Hearten Therapy, we are currently seeking a couples therapist (AMFT, LMFT, LCSW, LCPC) to enhance our dedicated team. Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties

  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions for clients as scheduled, adhering to evidence-based practices and organizational policies.
  • Engage in thorough consultations with prospective clients to assess compatibility, ensuring a mutual understanding of expectations and objectives prior to scheduling intake sessions.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Maintain proper licensing and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation for each client, including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, and other essential records.

Communication and Networking

  • Ensure reliable attendance and punctuality, demonstrating timely arrival for sessions and meetings.
  • Respond to administrative and client inquiries consistently and appropriately within 24-48 hours.
  • Actively engage in networking with wellness professionals and resources within the community.

Professional Development

  • Develop your therapeutic niche through participation in training sessions, workshops, and community events.
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings, consultation sessions, and training as directed, promoting continuous professional growth.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Master's or Doctoral degrees (AMFT, LMFT) in Marriage & Family Therapy are highly preferred.
  • Master's degree (LCSW, LCPC, etc.) with substantial experience in couples therapy and training in approaches such as the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Discernment Counseling.

Experience and Skills

  • At least one relational niche interest for counseling services (e.g., pre-marital counseling, pregnancy/postpartum support, adjustment to parenthood, sex therapy, divorce, etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience with couples work and family systems theory.

Personal Attributes

  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong social and conversational skills.
