POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

As the Marketing & Community Engagement Manager, you will serve as a vital link for our organization, enhancing our connection with HACE members and program alumni. Your role will ensure that every member feels valued through our content, initiatives, partnerships, and daily interactions. We seek an individual who is a natural networker with outstanding communication abilities and a desire to master new digital tools and techniques. You should be adept at collaborating with a diverse team in a remote work setting, capable of managing your responsibilities while knowing when to seek assistance. Creativity, a passion for digital communities, self-motivation, and relationship-building skills are essential. The Manager will report directly to HACE's Director of Marketing & Communications.


Travel Requirements: Ability to travel as needed, up to 20%

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS
  • Oversee HACE's email communications directed at members and key stakeholders.
  • Curate and produce content for up to two weekly blog entries.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to develop promotional materials for programs and events.
  • Assist other marketing team members with various initiatives as required.

PROGRAM MARKETING
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to support the goals of the programs department, including program promotion, market expansion, scholarship initiatives, and coaching programs.
  • Manage branding and updates for program collateral.
  • Coordinate and oversee details for HACE events organized by the programs team and auxiliary boards, including engaging content, logistical support, and promotion.

COMMUNITY & ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT
  • Articulate the unique and impactful voice of HACE through engaging and strategic content, virtual gatherings, and events.
  • Design and execute a community engagement strategy to enhance member growth.
  • Collaborate with the Programs team to create and implement an alumni communication and engagement plan.
  • Highlight member/alumni achievements in social media posts, stories, and events.
  • Manage all aspects of our LinkedIn Group, including updating posts, engaging with members, and creating innovative content.
  • Formulate a strategy to expand the HACE community within our Mighty Network platform.
  • Organize and maintain membership databases for streamlined communication.
  • Conduct regular outreach to new members through calls, social media, or emails, including an onboarding program.
  • Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of posts and virtual events to establish and achieve measurable KPIs (e.g., audience growth, engagement).
  • Stay informed about trends and discussions within the Hispanic/Latinx community.

EVENT SUPPORT
  • Assess and analyze the effectiveness of posts and virtual events to set and achieve measurable KPIs (e.g., audience growth, engagement).
  • Participate in HACE events as required (both virtual and in-person).

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in community management (digital preferred), social media strategy, event production, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to enhance community engagement is advantageous.
  • Exceptional writing and organizational skills.
  • High proficiency with popular virtual events and social media platforms such as Mighty Networks, Zoom, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and/or Hubspot or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take initiative to achieve goals without direct supervision.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to connect positively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and professional levels.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 20%.
