ROLE DETAILS:
  • Exceptional opportunity for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist to become part of a thriving subspecialty practice that offers comprehensive Maternal-Fetal Medicine services alongside two experienced subspecialists.
  • Supported by a team of 6 Advanced Practice Providers, ARDMS certified sonographers, 2 diabetes educators, 2 perinatal nutritionists, and a genetic counselor.
  • The Fetal Care Center collaborates closely with various subspecialties at Children's Hospital and adult care specialists.
  • Provides extensive consultation and management services for all aspects of high-risk pregnancies, including maternal transport services.
  • Laborists manage the majority of deliveries for the Maternal-Fetal Medicine patient demographic.
  • Call schedule is 1:3, shared equitably among providers.
  • Diverse range of clinical cases.
  • Teaching opportunities and academic appointments, along with research possibilities through the University of Illinois Peoria, are available if desired.

  • OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center is a 629-bed facility, recognized as the fifth-largest medical center in Illinois. It serves as a major teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and is the only Level I Trauma Center in the area, providing the highest level of trauma care.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: Doctorate in Medicine. Licenses/Certifications: Must be a licensed physician in the current state.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
  • Eligibility to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Must meet all qualifications for professional malpractice and liability coverage.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State to prescribe controlled substances, if applicable.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills to provide patient care aligned with the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
