About This Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Support Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plasma center.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine donor eligibility through thorough medical history interviews and physical examinations.
  • Review laboratory test results to ensure donor safety.
  • Notify donors of unsuitable test results and provide guidance on next steps.
  • Collaborate with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs team as needed.
  • Support employee health initiatives and manage employee incidents.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, including a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program that meets state requirements.
  • Current licensure or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state where responsibilities will be assigned.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
  • Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy in the state of licensure.
  • Satisfactory completion of FDA-approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialists.
  • Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
