Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Bedford Veterinary Medical Center. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch patient care, including restraint, triage, and nursing duties
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, such as surgeries and diagnostic imaging
  • Collect and analyze lab samples, and prepare patients for testing
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
