Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in providing high-quality hospice care to patients in their homes. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care and support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provides personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics to perform specific techniques of personal and supportive care.
- Plans and prepares nutritious meals, assists with feeding, and performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
- Observes, reports, and documents any changes in patient's status, and follows specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse.
- Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist, and performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration requirements.
- CNA experience within the last two years.
- Must be able to successfully pass the competency program of the care center.
- Current CPR certification.
