Sales Support Associate

Role Overview

As a Sales Support Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering sales assistance through case coverage, installations, and training within the designated territory.

Collaboration

You will report directly to the Area Sales Manager and collaborate closely with Regional Sales Directors, Clinical Account Managers, and the Vice President of Sales.

Your primary focus will be to support the sales team with case coverage and training initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive product and service knowledge to effectively educate clients.
  • Work in tandem with the Area Sales Manager to establish weekly objectives and expectations.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the current customer base and strategize with the Area Sales Manager to capitalize on these opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct product presentations and training sessions for medical professionals within the Acute Care sector.
  • Assist the Senior Area Sales Manager by covering cases at various accounts and providing essential sales support.
  • Build clinical relationships with physicians and medical staff to facilitate product demonstrations.
  • Secure orders from both existing and prospective clients through on-site meetings or communication via phone or email.
  • Identify opportunities to provide quotes based on customer requirements.
  • Submit weekly reports detailing customer interactions related to quotes, orders, and any issues with customer/vendor relationships.
  • Effectively demonstrate the value propositions of product offerings to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system and monitor for potential opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in outside business-to-business sales is required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
