Marion County is seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist 2 to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist 2, you will provide assessments and treatment services to individuals and their families, including crisis intervention and related duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and transition-age youth in the Woodburn and surrounding communities.
- Conduct intake medical mental health assessments, including screening for A/D issues.
- Document services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements.
- Provide consultation, training, and orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals.
- Assist clients and families with accessing community supports and resources.
- Make referrals for services as needed.
- Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon.
- Second year graduate students waived as QMHPs by the Oregon Health Authority.
- At least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field for Mental Health Therapist 2.
- Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) within the first 30 days of employment.

- Operates a motor vehicle.

- Sits, stands, moves about the work area, climbs 1 floor of stairs, operates a keyboard, lifts, pushes, pulls, and carries up to 15 lbs.
- Speaks with a clear and audible voice.
- Reads a 12 pt. font.
- Hears a normal speech level.
