Volt is actively searching for a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to become a vital part of their team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the enhancement and upgrading of electric overhead cranes. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Managing Product Lines - Legacy EOT and Portal Cranes
  • Analyzing order documentation and client specifications
  • Executing engineering tasks and performing calculations
  • Designing equipment layouts and essential drawings
  • Formulating work instructions and project timelines

This position is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with overhead electric cranes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machine design and structural engineering principles
  • Expertise in welding, machining, and industry standards
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in SAP, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Capability to work at heights and travel as required

COMPETITIVE SALARY: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
*Salary range will be determined based on education, experience, and job requirements.
