Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical and structural solutions for our electric overhead cranes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement mechanical and structural designs for overhead cranes, ensuring compliance with industry specifications and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design and engineering issues.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and commission equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to meet with customers, commission equipment, and inspect product at various manufacturing locations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with overhead electric cranes or similar industrial equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with frontline sales, customers, application engineers, and project management.
  • Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office.
