Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer clear guidance to team members and allocate tasks effectively to leverage individual and collective strengths while ensuring equitable exposure to work experiences and growth opportunities.
  • Exhibit leadership in health, safety, and environmental stewardship throughout the project. Implement the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to ensure compliance with Ledcor's health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as relevant regulations and codes for all personnel and subcontractors involved.
  • Guarantee that projects are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and sustain the construction schedule, ensuring milestones and completion dates are met.
  • Monitor and manage billing, reporting, and financial projections, ensuring that trade awards and construction activities remain within budgetary constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Civil Construction, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in large civil, oil and gas, or pipeline projects.
  • Experience in leach pad construction, reclamation, and earth-moving operations.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents and ensure their completeness, safeguarding the owner's interests, clearly defining expectations, and providing performance incentives.
  • Strong understanding of construction costs and budgets, coupled with exceptional contract negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of building effective teams, motivating personnel, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, owners, and consultants.
  • Ability to respond to stakeholder inquiries and communicate complex information clearly and appropriately.

Compensation Range:

$92,000 - $139,200.00
