Job Title: Senior Construction Manager

At EJS Group, LLC, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our industrial construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, dispatching, and management of craft employees, ensuring profitable, safe, timely, and quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment, dispatching, and management of all craft employees, including project superintendents, general foremen, foremen, welders, ironworkers, masons, operators, pipe fitters, skilled laborers, and laborers.
  • Support the estimating effort through bid reviews and constructibility reviews, including review of activity productions, crew makeup, equipment selection, and cost analysis.
  • Verify conformance of finished work product.
  • Ensure all safety and environmental requirements are met.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project Managers and other partnered companies to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Teach superintendents and general foremen how to generate and manage a 3-week lookahead schedule to ensure manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and all resources are scheduled appropriately.
  • Ensure all employees within the team know and follow the company safety and work rules and policies.
  • Assign work and participate in review of job costs and overall performance.
  • Support planning of on-the-job training to team members to ensure safety and quality of the work being done. Timely review of job sites for safety and quality of the work.
  • Work closely with all areas of the operations to create new opportunities for the company.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction of industrial projects, with a minimum of 5 years as a foreman and 5 years as a superintendent.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple crews and at least 250 craft employees.
  • Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.
  • Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Driver's license with a clean driving record.
