Job Description

Job Title: Product Line Director - Global Women's Collection

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Product Line Director to lead the development of our global women's footwear collection. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing a comprehensive product strategy that meets the needs of our target consumers in global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the development of complex footwear lines for the global women's collection, ensuring that they meet the needs of target consumers in all regions.
  • Ensure that shoe lines are designed, developed, and delivered to agreed-upon timelines, fit, and quality standards, and are commercially viable for sourcing and manufacturing.
  • Deliver portfolio and margin targets for the category, while managing an overhead/expenses budget for the business unit.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of target consumers' needs and market trends in global markets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and creativity in product design, ensuring that our products differentiate us from competitors.
  • Develop the professional skills and competencies of the product team in the UK and US.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a Range Manager/BU Director or equivalent, with additional experience in other areas of the business.
  • Extensive knowledge of footwear and shoemaking, including constructions, leather, and other materials.
  • Effective retail marketing and selling techniques, as well as knowledge of global markets and consumers.
  • Technical skills, including thorough knowledge of development and sourcing requirements, and expert understanding of Range Tracker/PLM and product costing processes.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to lead and mobilize resources from across the business to deliver objectives.
