Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with our medical staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Conduct advanced practice procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy
  • Utilize the nursing process to promote optimal health and well-being of patients
  • Assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values
Qualifications
  • Nurse Practitioner Requirements:
    • 1 year of experience in a clinical or advance practice setting, preferred
    • Master's degree in nursing as Nurse Practitioner
    • Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure for; and listed on the state Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry required
    • Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in applicable population foci and/or subspecialty required
    • RN License required
    • BLS from the American Heart Association required
    • ACLS from the American Heart Association required
    • Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan
  • Physician Assistant Requirements:
    • Two years prior experience in surgery (if applicable)
    • Masters graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required
    • PA Certification by N.C.C.P.A. and current mid-level provider license by the state of Colorado required
    • BLS from the American Heart Association required
    • ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required
