We are seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join our team as Respite Workers at ARCC Center Foundation. As a Respite Worker, you will provide support to children and teens with autism and/or other developmental disabilities and their families in their homes and in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to children and teens with autism and/or other developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Engage in activities that promote socialization, communication, and skill-building
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Document progress and provide regular updates to families and staff

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience working with children and teens with autism and/or other developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
