Lead Dialysis Nurse Opportunity

SSM Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our dialysis team. As a Dialysis Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, implementing clinical objectives, and ensuring quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign and direct dialysis nursing staff during assigned shifts, assessing daily patient care needs and developing patient care assignments.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes for dialysis patients, evaluating treatment effectiveness and identifying issues that affect desired outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, including data collection for the dialysis unit's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan and maintaining regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Respond to patient care complaints and manage through established channels.
  • Work with internal and external resources to maintain machine maintenance and partnership with home dialysis departments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • Minimum one year of registered nurse dialysis experience.
