Job OverviewPOSITION: BRANCH MANAGER

SUMMARY:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Branch Manager is accountable for overseeing the performance and strategic direction of operations, financial management, and customer service within the Branch. This role involves supervising and mentoring Branch personnel, collaborating with the Sales Team to ensure complete customer satisfaction and achieve financial targets.

CORE DUTIES:

  • Oversee the management of employees and operations related to rental equipment, including inventory, accounting, deliveries, services, and pickups.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded, maintaining goodwill for future engagements.
  • Uphold professional and ethical business relationships with all stakeholders, adhering to established company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Branch and corporate departments, such as Safety and Human Resources, to ensure compliance with regulations including EEO, FLSA, OSHA, etc.
  • Manage financial aspects including costs, revenues, profit and loss, and labor budgets to meet anticipated financial objectives.
  • Oversee the recruitment and retention of Branch staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and devise strategies to maintain market leadership.
  • Develop plans for the efficient utilization of materials, personnel, and equipment as applicable.
  • Generate and maintain reports, presentations, and forecasts of Branch performance data for Company management, recommending budgets and marketing strategies.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial/oilfield equipment rental and service, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Availability to work a schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM, with additional hours as required by customer needs.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in leading teams to successfully complete departmental projects.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer skills; experience with RentalMan is advantageous.
