Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team at US Engine Valve. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and specifying advanced electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems, as well as improving manufacturing support and maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specify advanced electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems
  • Improve manufacturing support and maintenance programs through training and technical support
  • Develop process specification, machine parameters, and develop plan for scrap reduction and uptime improvements
  • Drive capital projects from strategic planning phase to purchase, installation, run off and hand off to operations
  • Benchmark best in class facilities and implement world class processes, equipment, and workflow
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Technical knowledge in machine function, processes, control system, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives and electrical/electronic systems
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical design
  • Detailed abilities in capital equipment justification, project scheduling and managerial planning
  • Human relations are essential
