Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service to our customers. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, including patient information and medication inventory
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems and procedures
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills
