Job Summary

The Construction Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure they are working safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Monitor work progress, schedule adherence, and budgetary constraints to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure project goals are met.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment by implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and project closeout documents.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide regular reports on project progress and budget status to senior management and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
  • Current OSHA certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
