Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Accountant to join our partner's team. As a key member of their finance department, you will be responsible for managing construction project finances, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Estimated Salary: $65,000-$85,000 per year

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

About the Job:

  • Develop and implement effective financial tracking systems using Sage 100 software.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely AIA billing forms.
  • Manage project finances, including cost allocations, change orders, and budget adjustments.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to monitor project budgets and provide regular updates.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare financial reports for management, including forecasts, profit/loss statements, and cash flow projections.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Accountant with a focus on AIA billing forms.
  • Proficiency in Sage 100 or similar construction accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of construction accounting principles, including job costing and contract management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and vendors.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and change order processes.
