Position: Operating Room NurseKey Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to 4-6 patients during each shift
  • Administer medications, perform dressing changes, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including social workers, physical therapists, and imaging specialists
  • Assist the surgical team in the operating room and coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process
  • Develop and execute individualized nursing care plans for patients in the cardiovascular unit
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Diploma from an accredited nursing program
  • A minimum of two years of nursing experience
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
