Position Overview

This role encompasses 36 hours per week (ANTS), classified as full-time with comprehensive benefits.

In this ANTS role, employees who fulfill these 36 hours and designated days each week will receive compensation for a total of 40 hours.

The Sonographer plays a vital role in assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating ultrasound machinery to capture diagnostic images.

Qualifications
  • Education: Preferred 2 Year / Associate Degree. Must be a graduate of an ARRT-approved Sonography Program or a CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in vascular sonography is required.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be certified and registered by ARRT in Vascular Sonography, or by ARDMS in Vascular Technology, or by CCI as a Vascular Specialist RT(S)(VS), or RDMS, RT(VS), or RDMS, RVT, VT, or RT(S)(RVS), RDMS, (RVS).
  • Additional Skills/Requirements (required):
    • Ability to successfully complete both generic and department-specific skills validation and competency assessments.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Capability to work independently in diagnostic settings.
    • Familiarity with various ultrasound equipment.
    • Adaptability to diverse situations and procedures based on patient age.
    • Ability to interpret information to meet each patient's specific care requirements.
    • Basic computer proficiency.
